The British Ultrasound Medical Pregnancy Specialists are a group of Consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists working in the UK who had formed a self regulating network in 2005 in order to guarantee the public high quality medical services within the private sector.
MUMS UK
In August 2006 they changed their name to Medical Ultrasound and Maternity Services (MUMS-UK)as other non member ultrasound companies were trading under a similar name.
MUMS-UK is a non-profit making organisation promoting a network of independent consultant owned and led services for pregnancy and gynaecology services.
Our centres offer diagnostic and fetal wellbeing scans, gynaecology scans and also 3D and 4D pregnancy scans. Within the network many centres also offer amniocentesis, CVS and private pregnancy care and delivery.
The principles of the MUMS UK Network are endorsed by the 'Cleft Lip and Palate Association' and 'Antenatal Results and Choices' .
